According to Global Market Research, global sales of professional hairdressing products continue to show strong growth in 2024, with a global growth rate of 4.2%, maintaining a similar growth rate to last year. Latin America, as always, is a strong performer, and 2024 is no exception, with the region posting the highest growth rate of 15%, according to the report. Europe and North America also performed well, with growth rates in both regions ranging from 4-5%. However, Asia is the only region with a slight decline in sales, mainly driven by the Chinese mainland market, whose sales fell by more than 6%, continuing the stagnant trend of previous years. In the U.S. professional hair care market, demand for hair styling boosted hairspray sales.
